After 30 years in Europe and in the USA I have come back home to my Australia where I am currently dedicating part of my time to music teaching , sharing with you my knowledge and experience.

In the last 20 years I have had over 2000 students, ages 9 to 70 at: LIPA ( UK) , (Paul Mc Cartney's School of Music), L'Aula, (Berklee`s College of Music partner in Spain ) and at the Conservatorium of the “Liceu” , The Conservatorium of “Badalona “, both in Barcelona, Spain.

Past students have achieved highly successful careers as: Macaco , a latin grammy award winner Kate Pinell, West end ,London, Sarah Randle, performing for the Queen of England, Kim Manning as a member of Parliament funk ,( George Clinton), amongst others.

My textbooks are used in Conservatories and schools of Music in spanish speaking countries around the world.

My music methodology received high acclaim by the European Educational Music Commission in 1997.

What do I teach ? Electric, acoustic and spanish guitar. How to make music, how to feel good about playing the guitar in a quick , easy manner and of course my main final objective would be to get you playing the guitar for the rest of your life

Levels: Intermediate , advanced and I also select beginners who do like to achieve specific goals. An enthusiastic beginner who follows my guidance is a very satisfying personal experience.

Price: Between 60 and 85 per hour.
I would recommend group classes for beginners as private tuition is not the only format for learning how to play the guitar in an effective manner.

Conditions will apply for establishing an efficient compromise on both parties

Berklee Berklee College of Music: Tutor , 1989-92 , as part of my work-study commitment.
1995-1998: Professor at the L´Aula de Música del Conservatorio del Liceo, Barcelona, Spain.
1996-1999: Part time lecturer at Paul Mc Cartney´School of Music, The Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts. U.K.
1993-95: Lecturer at the Conservatorio de Badalona, Barcelona, Spain.
1997: Music lecturer and conferences at Euro Pop Days, Freiburg , Germany.
1998: Music lecturer at the Universidad Menendez Pelayo, Spain.
2001: Music lecturer in music education at the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain.
Part of my expertise was dedicated to help musicians become more aware of other skills which they would need to enhance and influence their careers, including the use of publicity and the media.

At a Spanish national level: Design and implementation of the career Music Management, Music Business in collaboration with Don Gorder, chair of Music Business/Management, Berklee College of Music at the Conservatory del Liceu.

Design of music production, film scoring courses with the support of the S.G.A.E achieving recognition of such pilot projects from the European Union Commission.

At an international level: With European partners from Ireland, Belgium, France, Italy, Holland we developed a 4 year ongoing project , a trans -national music industry training scheme based on European funds called Europe Connection from 1995 till 1999.

Responsible for the keenly attended Get Serious courses launched in Spain , which were funded from the coffers of the European Unions Social Fund.
